Sarah Warren-Smith

Sarah Warren-Smith is a Level 2 swimming instructor and preschool teacher with many years’ teaching experience; she teaches children at our East Molesey venue.

Having trained and competed at Elmbridge Phoenix and Staines swimming clubs, as well representing her borough in synchronised swimming, Sarah was immersed in the world of aquatics as a youngster and her early dedication to sport laid the foundations for a long career in the world of sports and fitness.

As well as swim teaching, Sarah is a British Gymnastics high performance coach and director of the Kingston Trampoline Academy.

Her coaching expertise has guided members of the junior and senior British trampoline gymnastics team to success at home and abroad.  Her involvement isn't limited to coaching -  she’s also a national trampoline judge for British Gymnastics.

Sarah was previously a sports lecturer at Kingston College and holds a Diploma in Life Coaching and Meditation; her interest in the mental aspects of sports led her to attain her Level 3 qualification in Sports Psychology.

With qualifications as a fitness instructor and Aquafit instructor, Sarah embodies a well-rounded approach to physical wellness.

Amazingly, she somehow finds time for swimming, paddleboarding, and skiing and she remains committed to self-improvement by consistently updating her knowledge and skills through various training and courses.

Sarah is a qualified rescue scuba diver and has explored many shipwrecks in search of interesting marine life, but it was swimming with Nurse sharks in the Caribbean that she says is her no.1 swimming highlight!

When it comes to swim teaching, Sarah’s approach is rooted in accessibility and versatility. She believes swimming can unlock amazing experiences for everyone, whether pursued for fitness, leisure, snorkelling, or a myriad of water-related endeavours. However, her appreciation for the joy water brings is tempered by a deep respect for its potential hazards - so she also believes a thorough understanding of how to stay safe is critical.
