Swimming lessons for children and adults, Swim Club and Technique Workshops take place on Thursdays in the fantastic 25-metre long four-lane heated indoor pool at Notre Dame School in Cobham.
Former Great Britain swimmer Nicola Ayers and her team of expert instructors provide high quality swimming classes to help learners and improvers make great progress.
The facilities include male and female changing rooms with showers, toilets and ample free parking.

1:1 & small group lessons
We offer one-to-one and small group children’s swimming lessons tailored to meet learners’ needs so they can they develop the fundamental skills required to become a competent and safe swimmer.
GoggleSquad’s swim programme uses the respected Swim England Learn To Swim Framework and learners are grouped and taught according to their specific needs. Whether a complete beginner or ready to progress, our small child-led classes and expert tuition ensure great results. All classes are 30 minutes long. Prices from £25 per lesson.
GoggleSquad Swim Club
GoggleSquad Swim Club provides expert tuition and coaching for school-age children who want to develop their swimming skills further.
The hour-long sessions on Thursdays are focussed on improving speed, technique and stamina, as well as developing specific skills such as competitive starts and turns. For new starters the first session is a free assessment. Sessions after that cost £19.
Technique workshops
Our technique workshops at Notre Dame School have one goal in mind: to get swimmers up to club level.
Sessions are focussed on sharpening up technique across all four strokes, including breath work, body position and propulsion - to help achieve the level of endurance and speed needed for club swimming.
These focussed 45-minute sessions are specifically designed to ensure swimmers will thrive at the next level and give them the best chance of becoming a solid club swimmer. The small groups on Thursday evenings take place at our Notre Dame School pool from 6pm.
For new starters the assessment is free.
Adult swimming lessons

With expert guidance from our highly qualified swimming instructors, you will master the important fundamentals of swimming and boost your confidence and ability in the water.

Nicola
GoggleSquad founder Nic is an ASA Level 2 instructor and has taught swimming for 15 years. She competed for England and Great Britain in synchronised swimming and founded GoggleSquad in 2020.

Sophie
Sophie has been a Level 2 swimming instructor for over 14 years and teaches children and adults at our Notre Dame venue. As well as teaching, Sophie is also a qualified water fitness instructor and has her national rescue award for swimming teachers and coaches.

Taya
Taya started her lifelong aquatic adventure as a very junior member of the respected Kingston Royals swim club. Little did she know that this early start would lay the foundation for a remarkable journey in the world of swimming.

Alex
Alex is a seasoned Level 2 swimming instructor with eight years’ experience teaching learners of all ages. He is also an accomplished competitive swimmer who has made a significant mark in the world of swimming.

Yes, there is a small, mixed changing room on the poolside with an an adjoining shower.

Yes, the pool is heated to 31 degrees.

Yes, one parent is welcome to observe the lesson and we allow 15 minutes between classes to address any questions you may have. Unfortunately due to the size of the pool area, we are unable to accommodate more than one adult per child.

If your child is not toilet trained, then a swimming nappy is definitely required.

Food and drink consumption is prohibited in the swimming pool area and changing rooms.

Swimsuits, towels, and goggles are recommended. We provide swim aids and everything else!

Lessons typically last 30 minutes for children.
