Relaxed, pay-as-you-go pool time for babies and young toddlers on Wednesday mornings. Guided by an early years specialist and Aqua Sensory accredited teacher, parents support their baby to explore simple sensory play stations in our lovely warm, calm pool at their own pace. Sessions focus on confidence, curiosity and bonding, offering a gentle, nurturing early experience in the pool.

What is Aqua Sensory?
Splash & Play is guided by Aqua Sensory principles, an early years approach that combines gentle water time with sensory exploration and child-led play.
The pool provides a naturally multi-sensory environment that supports early development in a calm, nurturing way.
The sessions focus on building positive associations with water, encouraging natural curiosity, and allowing each child to explore at their own pace, with reassurance and guidance throughout.
Aqua Sensory is about confidence, connection and enjoyment rather than learning to swim, though the sessions can provide a gentle stepping stone towards future baby and toddler lessons.

Yes. Splash & Play is a parent-led session and all children attend with a parent or carer in the pool.

No. Splash & Play focuses on sensory exploration and confidence rather than swimming skills or instruction.

Normal swimwear for you and your child, plus towels. We operate a strict double nappy policy, which means we insist on a swim nappy and additional neoprene nappy over the top. This is an absolute non-negotiable condition of using our facilities. Under no circumstances should regular nappies be worn while swimming. We stock disposable and reusable swim nappies at the venue.

Each booking is for one child with one parent/carer. Please contact us if you have specific questions.

As you will be in the water with your child, and with others in the pool, it’s not practical to take photos. However, if all participants would like us to take some photos and share them later, we’d be happy to do that.

That’s absolutely fine. Observing is part of sensory learning and children are encouraged to engage at their own pace.

Yes, there is plenty of free parking on site for party guests.

Cancellations
We understand that plans can change, especially with babies.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will receive a credit for a future Splash & Play session.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds or credits for on-the-day cancellations or no-shows, except in exceptional circumstances.

Spaces are limited to keep sessions calm and supportive, so advance booking is recommended.
