Jason Larbi

Jason is a seasoned Level 2 swimming instructor with a passion for sports and fitness. With a decade of experience in the pool, he achieved his ASA Level 2 instructor qualification in 2015 and has since taught hundreds of learners young and old the fundamental skills required for swimming safely.

Graduating with a degree in architecture from the University of Kent, Jason holds certifications as a Senior Cadet Instructor and a St John's Ambulance First Aider; he also holds his National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).

Jason competed for Ealing Swimming Club as a youth which instilled a lifelong passion for being in the water. He loves to see continuous improvement in his students, regardless of their age or skill level, and is particularly proud to have taught a 70-year-old couple who were complete non-swimmers how to swim from scratch.

Jason's teaching methodology centres around trust, encouragement and enjoyment, recognising the importance of becoming at ease in the water to unlock swift progress in swimming proficiency. Beyond the pool, Jason has participated in a charity triathlon, swimming in the River Thames and his sporting interests extend to ice hockey, ice skating, and strength training. With a background in art and a passion for design, Jason's architectural aspirations sit alongside his diverse range of hobbies, complemented by a love for cars, which adds another dimension to his broad interests.

Jason teaches children from aged 3 and upwards at our Cobham Feltonfleet venue on Saturdays and Sundays.
