Floating Sound Bath Terms

GoggleSquad Floating Sound Bath Terms & Conditions and Health Declaration

Version 1.1
Effective from: 6 August 2026

Our aim is to provide a calm, restorative and safe Floating Sound Bath experience within a warm swimming pool environment at Imber Court.
By completing a booking, or by attending a Floating Sound Bath session where a booking has been made on your behalf, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions and Health Declaration.

If Someone Has Booked on Your Behalf

If another person has booked your place, you must:
  • Read these Terms & Conditions and Health Declaration in full.
  • Ensure you are satisfied that the session is suitable for you.
  • Email soundbath@gogglesquad.co.uk before attending with the following confirmation:
“I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the GoggleSquad Floating Sound Bath Terms & Conditions and Health Declaration and that any health information I have provided to GoggleSquad is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.”
GoggleSquad reserves the right to refuse participation where this confirmation has not been received before the session.

1. Health & Medical Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring that this experience is suitable for them.
Each participant must ensure that GoggleSquad has received full and accurate information about any relevant medical conditions before attending. Where a booking is made on behalf of another person, the participant remains responsible for ensuring that their own health information is provided accurately.
Participants are responsible for notifying GoggleSquad as soon as reasonably practicable if there is any change to their health or medical circumstances between booking and attending the session which may affect their ability to participate safely.
Please contact us before booking if any of the following apply, as we may need to discuss whether the session is suitable for you:
  • You are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
  • You have epilepsy or a history of seizures.
  • You have tinnitus, hyperacusis or another condition affecting your sensitivity to sound.
  • You experience vertigo or another condition affecting your balance.
  • You have recently undergone surgery or sustained an injury that may affect your ability to participate safely.
  • You have a significant mental health condition that may affect your ability to participate safely.
  • You have an implanted or external medical device (such as a pacemaker, PICC line, central venous catheter, infusion pump or insulin pump), or you require ongoing intravenous treatment.
  • You have any open wounds, skin infections or other condition that may make pool use unsuitable.
  • You have any other medical condition, injury or concern that may affect your ability to participate safely.
This list is not exhaustive. If you are unsure whether this experience is suitable for you, you should seek advice from your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional before attending.
GoggleSquad reserves the right to request written medical clearance from a GP or other healthcare professional where appropriate.
We reserve the right to refuse participation, or remove a participant from a session, if, in our reasonable opinion, attendance would present a risk to the individual or others.

2. Nature of the Activity & Assumption of Risk

This session takes place in a warm swimming pool environment and involves entering, exiting and floating in water using equipment provided by GoggleSquad.
Participants should expect to become wet whilst entering, exiting and floating in the pool. Although every effort is made to create a calm and relaxing environment, splashing or brief immersion may occasionally occur.
Participants acknowledge that water-based activities carry inherent risks including, but not limited to:
  • Slipping on wet surfaces.
  • Loss of balance.
  • Dizziness or fainting.
  • Panic or anxiety responses.
  • Water-related incidents.
While every reasonable care is taken to provide a safe environment, participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
A qualified lifeguard will be present throughout the session. However, this is not a supervised swimming lesson, medical treatment or therapy session.

3. During the Session

Participants must:
  • Follow all instructions given by GoggleSquad staff and lifeguards.
  • Enter and exit the pool carefully and as directed.
  • Be able to enter and exit the pool independently unless appropriate assistance or alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance with GoggleSquad.
  • Inform a member of staff immediately if they begin to feel unwell.
  • Leave the pool if experiencing dizziness, nausea, breathing difficulty, panic or any other significant discomfort.
  • Not attend under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs or any medication that significantly impairs alertness, judgement or balance.
  • Not attend if they are suffering from diarrhoea, vomiting or any contagious illness that could reasonably pose a risk to other participants.
Participants are encouraged to take the session at their own pace and may leave the pool or end their participation at any time if they feel uncomfortable.
If at any time you feel unwell, you should open your eyes, sit up slowly and alert a member of staff.
No entry will be permitted once the session has started.
GoggleSquad reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or not in accordance with staff instructions. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

4. Personal Responsibility & Medical Disclaimer

This experience is intended solely for relaxation and wellbeing purposes. It is not medical treatment and should not be regarded as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Participants remain responsible for their own health, hydration and wellbeing before, during and after the session.

5. Booking & Payment

All sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking via Acuity. A booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.
If you book on behalf of another participant, you confirm that you have their permission to do so and that you will provide them with a copy of these Terms & Conditions and Health Declaration before the session.

6. Cancellation & Transfers

All bookings are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session start time may be transferred to a future Floating Sound Bath session, subject to availability and at GoggleSquad’s discretion.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Failure to attend will result in full loss of payment.
A participant may transfer their booking to another person provided that:
  • GoggleSquad is notified at least 24 hours before the session.
  • The replacement participant completes any required health declaration.
  • The replacement participant confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and Health Declaration.
  • All other booking requirements have been satisfied.
The original booking payment will be applied to the replacement booking. No refund will be issued.
GoggleSquad reserves the right to refuse any transfer request where these requirements have not been met.
If GoggleSquad cancels a session due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to staff illness, venue closure, pool plant failure, water quality issues or events beyond our reasonable control, participants will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer to another session. No additional compensation shall be payable.

7. Lateness

Due to the nature of the experience, late entry is not permitted once the session has started.
The session will finish at the advertised time regardless of arrival time.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Participants agree to take reasonable care for their own safety and to comply with all instructions given by GoggleSquad staff and lifeguards.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, GoggleSquad shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss arising from participation in the session.
Participants remain responsible for their own personal belongings. GoggleSquad accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence.

9. Photography & Media

Photography and video recording during the session are not permitted without the prior consent of GoggleSquad.
GoggleSquad will not photograph or record participants without their express consent.
