Pool Party Terms and Conditions
Pool Party Terms & Conditions
By booking or attending a pool party with GoggleSquad, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. They form part of the contract between you and GoggleSquad. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Numbers & Age Limits
Pool parties are for a maximum of 15 children aged 4–14 years, excluding adults required for supervision.
Final numbers are subject to supervision requirements and the age, swimming ability and needs of the group.
Supervision & Responsibility
Pool parties are not drop-and-go events.
At least one responsible adult (18+) responsible for the party must remain in the pool area for the full duration of the session.
For children under 8, there must be at least one accompanying adult in the water for every three children.
Non-swimmers and weak or nervous swimmers must be closely supervised and may be restricted to a depth where they can stand comfortably. Our lifeguards may require an adult to enter the water where additional supervision is needed.
Depending on the needs of the children concerned, an adult may be required to supervise one or two children only.
The number of accompanying adults required may be increased depending on the age, swimming ability and needs of the group.
GoggleSquad lifeguards provide overall safety supervision and do not count towards the accompanying adult-to-child ratio. Lifeguards have final discretion over supervision requirements and participation.
The party organiser and accompanying adults are responsible for supervising children in changing rooms and toilets at all times.
Parents not participating in the pool session are asked to remain seated on the poolside or wait outside under the covered area near the glass sliding doors.
Safety & Swim Test
A safety briefing and swim test will be conducted by lifeguards before pool activity begins.
Children who are unable to swim a full width of the pool confidently and independently, without a buoyancy aid or assistance, will be classed as weak or non-swimmers and the additional supervision requirements above will apply.
Buoyancy aids (including pool noodles and/or arm discs) will be provided where appropriate. Buoyancy aids do not replace required adult supervision.
GoggleSquad reserves the right to restrict or refuse participation, modify activities or end the session early, without refund, if supervision requirements, behaviour or safety standards are not met.
Medical Information & Consent
You confirm that all children attending have parental/guardian permission to participate.
You are responsible for informing GoggleSquad in advance of any medical condition, disability, allergy or additional need that may affect a child’s safe participation or require additional support.
Any child requiring medication during the party must be accompanied by their parent or carer for the full duration of the party.
Behaviour & Pool Rules
All children and adults must follow lifeguard and staff instructions at all times.
Running, pushing, ducking, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
Jumping into the pool is permitted only during organised, lifeguard-led activities and is not allowed during free play.
GoggleSquad reserves the right to pause, modify, or stop activities, or end the session early, if behaviour compromises safety.
Photography & Filming
Responsibility for obtaining consent for photography or filming rests entirely with parents/guardians.
GoggleSquad does not manage or verify photo or video permissions.
Photography and filming must not interfere with supervision and may be restricted or stopped for safety reasons.
Venue & Other Conditions
Party food must be arranged separately with Imber Court. Imber Court can accommodate catering for all pool booking times on Saturdays and Sundays. If you would like to include food as part of your celebration, this must be arranged in advance directly with the venue by booking a room and ordering catering through the Imber Court team.
As Imber Court operates its own catering facilities, outside food is not permitted anywhere on the premises. This includes bringing food from home or arranging food with external providers, including Dough Shack.
If you wish to include food as part of your party, please contact Imber Court directly to arrange room hire and catering.
Party timings, including pool and building exit times, must be adhered to to allow safe handover between sessions.
Pool layout, equipment use, and pool configuration are at the discretion of lifeguards and GoggleSquad staff.
All venue rules must be followed at all times.
All instructions given by GoggleSquad staff and lifeguards must be followed immediately.
