Pool Party Terms and Conditions

Pool Party Terms & Conditions

By booking or attending a pool party with GoggleSquad, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. They form part of the contract between you and GoggleSquad. We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

The remaining balance will be invoiced and must be paid at least 7 days before the party date.

The exact number of children attending must be confirmed at least 7 days before the party.

Numbers & Age Limits

Pool parties are designed for up to 15 children aged 4–14 years.

Up to three additional children may attend, to a maximum of 18 children in total, provided all additional children are aged 8 years or over.

Final numbers are subject to supervision requirements and the swimming ability mix of the group.

Numbers must not exceed 18 children under any circumstances.

Supervision & Responsibility

Pool parties are not drop-and-go events.

At least one responsible adult (18+) must remain on the poolside for the full duration of the party.

Parents/carers are fully responsible for supervising all children in changing rooms and toilets at all times.

Children aged 4–7 years, non-swimmers, and nervous swimmers must be accompanied in the pool by a responsible adult, at a ratio of one adult to two children.

Parents not participating in the pool session are asked to remain seated on the poolside or wait outside under the covered area near the glass sliding doors.

Safety & Swim Test

A safety briefing and swim test will be conducted by lifeguards before pool activity begins.

Children who are unable to swim a full width competently (with face in the water, using a recognised stroke, and without distress) must be accompanied in the pool by an adult.

Buoyancy aids (including pool noodles and/or arm discs) will be offered to nervous or non-swimmers where appropriate. Buoyancy aids do not replace required adult supervision.

GoggleSquad reserves the right to restrict or refuse participation, or end the session early, without refund, if supervision ratios, swimming ability requirements, behaviour, or safety standards are not met.

Medical Information & Consent

You confirm that all children attending have parental/guardian permission to participate.

You confirm that no child attending has a medical condition that would compromise their safety in the pool, or that any such condition has been declared and confirmed as safe for participation.

Any child requiring medication must be accompanied by their parent or carer for the full duration of the party.

Behaviour & Pool Rules

All children and adults must follow lifeguard and staff instructions at all times.

Running, pushing, ducking, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.

Jumping into the pool is permitted only during organised, lifeguard-led activities and is not allowed during free play.

GoggleSquad reserves the right to pause, modify, or stop activities, or end the session early, if behaviour compromises safety.

Photography & Filming

Responsibility for obtaining consent for photography or filming rests entirely with parents/guardians.

GoggleSquad does not manage or verify photo or video permissions.

Photography and filming must not interfere with supervision and may be restricted or stopped for safety reasons.

Venue & Other Conditions

Party food must be arranged separately with Imber Court.

Party timings, including pool and building exit times, must be adhered to to allow safe handover between sessions.

Pool layout, equipment use, and pool configuration are at the discretion of lifeguards and GoggleSquad staff.

All venue rules must be followed at all times.

GoggleSquad staff and lifeguards must be cooperated with immediately.
