GoggleSquad Swim School Takes Over Swimming Lessons at Imber Court

Imber Court Pool

GoggleSquad Swim School has officially taken over the provision of swimming lessons at Imber Court, East Molesey, bringing its highly regarded programme of small-group teaching and expert coaching to the much-loved community pool.

Imber Court’s 18 × 6 metre heated indoor pool (maintained at a comfortable 30–32 °C) is now home to GoggleSquad’s full range of lessons, welcoming babies and toddlers, children and adults of all abilities. Lessons are available throughout the week - mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends - offering families greater flexibility.

“Our focus has always been on helping swimmers progress quickly and confidently in a supportive environment, with a laser focus on getting technique right,” said Nicola Ayers, Founder of GoggleSquad and former Great Britain synchronised swimmer. “At Imber Court, we’re delighted to continue that mission with the benefit of excellent facilities and a pool that the local community already knows and loves.”

As part of the transition, GoggleSquad has appointed Imber Court teacher Taya Harvey as Swim Manager, overseeing a team of nine highly experienced teachers who continue their roles, ensuring a smooth transition for families who had previously attended lessons at the pool.

GoggleSquad, which operates from six other local venues, prides itself on exceptional customer service - and Imber Court will be no exception.

The dedicated back-office team led by former County Swimmer Phillippa personally places every swimmer into the right group. Unlike many other swim schools, GoggleSquad does not offer self-booking: instead, the team works hard to understand each swimmer’s needs before placing them and liaising with teachers to ensure they are progressing in line with the respected Swim England Framework alongside learners of a similar ability.

Alongside lessons, GoggleSquad will continue to provide a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for Imber Court members, ensuring the pool remains a valued asset for regular users. From 2026, the swim school will also launch intensive swimming crash courses at Imber, giving children the opportunity to accelerate their progress during school holidays.

GoggleSquad is also proud to be extending its teaching to the wider community, delivering swimming lessons for children attending Molesey Day Nursery, Cranmere School and Hampton Court House pupils, helping more children than ever build essential water confidence and skills.

In addition, families can book pool parties at Imber Court, with weekly slots available on Saturdays and Sundays, providing a fun and safe way to celebrate birthdays and special occasions.

Key features of GoggleSquad at Imber Court include:

  • Small class sizes - maximum of four children per group up to Stage 5

  • Fully qualified Level 2 swimming teachers and RLSS-certified lifeguards on poolside

  • 30-minute lessons as standard, with some 45-minute sessions available

  • Free on-site parking and spacious male and female changing rooms

“Imber Court is a fantastic venue and we are proud to be entrusted with the important job of teaching there,” added Ayers. “We have exciting plans to expand our teaching offer, with a focus on early years development and preparing children for club swimming in future.”
