School Holiday Swim Clinics in Cobham and East Molesey

Swim Clinics for Stroke Technique & Skill Development

GoggleSquad Swim Clinics are short, focused courses in the holidays designed to help swimmers make rapid progress in a specific stroke or skill.

They are intended for swimmers who already have the basics in place and want to refine their technique through detailed coaching and expert feedback.

Unlike regular weekly lessons or crash courses, each clinic concentrates on one area of technique across several consecutive sessions. This focused format allows swimmers to build understanding, confidence and momentum much more quickly.

Our Swim Clinics run during the school holidays at Imber Court in East Molesey and Feltonfleet School in Cobham.

Sessions take place in small groups (maximum six swimmers) and focus on refining stroke technique, improving efficiency in the water and developing stronger, more confident swimmers.

All clinics are led by experienced coaches with competitive swimming backgrounds and a reputation for precise, high-quality instruction.

Share a few details and we’ll be in touch to get you booked in.

Swim Clinics: Frequently Asked Questions

  • A Swim Clinic is a short, focused course designed to help swimmers improve a specific stroke or skill over several consecutive sessions. Unlike regular weekly lessons, clinics concentrate on one aspect of technique so swimmers can make faster progress through repetition and targeted coaching.

  • Swim Clinics are ideal for swimmers who already have the basics in place and want to improve their stroke technique, efficiency and confidence in the water. They work particularly well for swimmers who are comfortable swimming a length but want more detailed coaching.

  • Regular lessons focus on a broad range of skills and long-term progression. Swim Clinics focus on one stroke or skill at a time, allowing swimmers to practise the same movement repeatedly and receive detailed technical feedback.

  • This depends on the clinic, but swimmers typically work on:

    • Stroke technique and body position

    • Breathing and timing

    • Efficiency and propulsion

    • Starts, turns or underwater skills

The aim is to refine technique so swimmers become stronger, smoother and more confident in the water.

  • Groups are intentionally small, with a maximum of six swimmers, so each child receives individual attention and targeted coaching feedback.

  • All clinics are led by experienced swimming coaches with competitive swimming backgrounds and a strong focus on technical coaching.

  • Our Swim Clinics take place during the school holidays at:

    • Imber Court, East Molesey

    • Feltonfleet School, Cobham

Both venues provide excellent teaching environments with warm indoor pools.

  • Sessions typically run for around 60 minutes, giving swimmers enough time to practise drills, receive feedback and apply improvements within the same session.

  • Swimmers should bring:

    • Swimwear

    • Towel

    • Goggles

    • A water bottle

We provide all teaching equipment used during the sessions.

  • Because clinics focus on one skill over several sessions, many swimmers make noticeable improvements in technique and confidence within the course.

  • If you’re unsure whether a clinic is suitable, feel free to get in touch and we’ll happily advise. Our aim is to ensure every swimmer joins a clinic where they can benefit from the coaching and feel challenged in the right way.

  • No, Swim Clinics are designed to complement regular lessons, helping swimmers refine specific skills while continuing their broader development in weekly classes.
